A School Counseling Portfolio

MEET YOUR COUNSELOR

Hello all, I'm Mandy Ritcheson! I believe school counseling is about walking alongside students as they grow - not rushing them, not fixing them, but supporting them as they discover their own strengths.

As a graduate of Lee University, I am dedicated to developing counseling programs that are comprehensive, culturally responsive, and grounded in data-informed practice. At the same time, I believe the heart of this profession is relational - students grow best when they feel safe, valued, and understood.

To me, this work is about showing up consistently. Listening carefully. Advocating boldly. And believing in students, even when they are still learning to believe in themselves.
